Health and Wellness

Attention to the patient experience and an appreciation for the role of one's surroundings in the healing process drive Mackenzie's approach to health and wellness design. Understanding critical functional aspects of the clinical environment is key to developing spaces that appropriately accommodate the in-and-out traffic of patients. Workflow and privacy concerns must be carefully assessed to facilitate creating environments that provide pleasant experiences for the provider/patient interaction. Focus and attention to durable materials, soothing yet refreshing palettes, and overall comfort are also paramount to creating a successful health environment. Monty Hill and Wendell Mueller lead Mackenzie's work in this market sector.
