Harrison Square

Project
Mackenzie’s repositioning of the Harrison Building lobby reinvigorated and modernized the building’s sense of place and introduced a set of attractive tenant amenities. Before renovation, the only common area inside the building was a few chairs in the hallway. The design transformed former tenant space into an expanded lobby, inviting lounge spaces, and a coffee shop—all of which build identity and community. The design is a modern take on the building’s midcentury vintage, with wood paneling, lush fabrics, and exposed waffle slab ceiling elements. A series of visual connections link the...Learn more

Triangle Pointe

Project
Built in the late-’60s, Triangle Pointe had never been updated. Great bones were obscured behind dropped popcorn ceilings, beige quarry tile, and a forest of yellow oak. Originally occupied by a single tenant, the building had an entrance and cramped lobby with no sense of arrival. The new purchaser desired to reposition the property to be a viable, productive, multi-tenant office building. The goal was to intrigue, with details providing moments of discovery as visitors moved through the space. The result is a warm interpretation of modern design that offers a fresh counterpoint to the...Learn more
