St. Pius X Catholic School

Project
Since early 2013, Mackenzie has assisted the St. Pius X Parish with upgrading key facilities. Most notable is ongoing work on a two-story, 14,600 SF expansion to the St. Pius X K-8 Catholic School. The expansion is wood-framed construction with a site-cast concrete foundation and structurally engineered panels. Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School

Project
Mackenzie provided the overall design lead in the development of plans for the Our Lady of the Lake campus, including comprehensive off-site public improvements. The 54,000 SF building houses a K–8 elementary school with office space, nine classrooms, specialty classrooms, a gym and a cafeteria, as well as a parish office. Concordia University School of Law and George R. White Law Library

Project
Mackenzie was hired, as part of the firm’s continued relationship with Concordia University, to develop a project program, assist with evaluation of suitable existing buildings, and aid in site selection for new construction or renovation for a new law school and law library in Boise, Idaho. Upon completion of the program and selection of the site, work progressed into development of construction documents and construction of the three-story facility. Concordia University George R. White Library & Learning Center

Project
The LEED Gold-certified library and learning center is adjacent to a single-family residential neighborhood in NE Portland. At nearly 74,000 SF, the three-story library and multi-classroom building is the largest building on campus, holds twice the volume of the old library, and more than doubles the amount of classroom space on campus.
