Sun Kim came to Mackenzie from Boston with more than 17 years of experience with architectural design, project management, and master planning. Notable projects Sun was involved with prior to Mackenzie include the construction of the Envoy Hotel in Boston; Greenline extension stations for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority; and the California NANOSystems Institute, a research laboratory facility at UC Santa Barbara. Sun uses her expertise in design direction in pursuit of great design, which she believes should be immediately understandable and evocative. She earned a bachelor’s of architecture from Carnegie Mellon University in 1998.
