Bob Thompson

Bob Thompson specializes in the planning and design of industrial manufacturing and distribution facilities. He is the preferred architect of many of our region's top industrial developers and brokers. The team of architects and interns he leads is Mackenzie's top producer of commercial and industrial design. Bob has designed more than 20 million square feet of industrial, warehouse, and distribution facilities in the last three decades. He understands the importance of efficient layout and careful design to meet the unique demands of each project, and is known for his ability to coordinate projects to meet budgets and schedules. Bob has also brought his passion for project management to notable projects in new market sectors for Mackenzie, including the Our Lady of the Lake K-12 School and the Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic Recreation Center (SHARC). Bob and his wife have a home in Sunriver, where he is able to indulge his appetites for downhill skiing, golfing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and biking.

"A successful approach to design requires efficient problem solving and creating a sense of place and purpose."
